W00t! Yay! Props to Hyperion and everyone involved.

Now I've got no excuse for not buying an A1 - except that I'm just starting the process of buying my first home, and have also just written off my car Ah well, I'll work something out!

Didn't Lenin write a pamphlet called "When it's done" ?

Oh, no - that was "What is to be done?"

Oh balls. Just popped in for a second, saw the piccy on the newspage and went and pissed mesself!

I intend to print up a copy, cut it out, fold it, then put it next to my Amiga where I can open it and close it from time to time and pretend I have the real thing. Mine is a sad life, really.

You know what I'm waiting for now? An item to appear in the 6 o'clock news about a disturbing trend in assaults on postal workers. - Users in the US please note, your local postal worker is probably better armed than you so please exercise caution in ... inquiring about the delivery status of your package from Hyperion. - Further investigations will reveal that these attacks are world wide in scope and that all the assaults were carried out by drooling fanatics screaming "Boing! Boing! Boing!" until being lightly clubbed by members of the local law enforcement community.

Doug

You need another one to play when the computer is actually ready to use.
Maybe add more for malfunctions and then we'll have music all day.

Noticing that the packages alternate every so many, and estimating 25 packages per alternation I would guess that there were 600 packages per layer of that one box?and that's just the developer pre-release, folks. Great news indeed, I would say.

guesses:

The box looks to be able to hold two stacks of 8X25 (200) each, one deep. That means 400 per box. We could make a competition out of this, like how many jelly babies in the jar? Er... This wasn't the ONLY box shipped to hyperion, was it? Cause that would be less than good.

That's one nice looking pre-release, almost worth to wait for something that good looking instead of downloading it from internet a month ago.

Even if there's just that one box with say 200 cd's I don't think that's bad, I don't think there are more than 10 +/- people with amigaone in norway, so I don't think there are more than 200 amigaone owners in the world?! :)
