Hyperion Entertainment is proud to announce that our new web site is now online. The new site can be reached at www.hyperion-entertainment.biz.

The new site features an all-new dynamic content system that allows registered users to login on the front page. Logging in will give users access to otherwise restricted areas of the web site, including more download options.

New features will be added to the web site in the future.

Just visited. Excellent - registering OS4 is done view "Registering Game" item once you get your login and password.

There are a number of games available and a new version of warp.

Thanks Hyperion, now all I need to do is get my pre-release to check out the rest.

It's actually the old version. I just copied the latest updates from our old website over to the new one

In the not too distant future (i.e. somewhere next week) we intend to fill the download area up a bit. You know, a few OS 4 thingies for the prerelease owners

Yes it's all very nice and so on but, and this is merely my oh-so humble opion here, don't you think it's a more than a little needlessly cruel for those of us who don't have OS4PR yet? Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything wrong with needless cruelty just so long as I'm the one being cruel... Hmmm. Just forget that I said that....

Move along, there's nothing to see here.

Doug

You need another one to play when the computer is actually ready to use.
Maybe add more for malfunctions and then we'll have music all day.

Nice (and recogniceable ) website. Looking forward to some more material related to AOS4 though - a link to the feature-set might be considered a minimalistic addition.

Hopefully AOS4 will reach me shortly!

After a spot of navigating I couldn't find much infomation on OS4 apart from in the news and faq's. Projects just shows games. Probably because OS4 is not out yet but a comming soon page would be nice. There is no screen shots or feature lists so I imagine one would have to go to Amiga.org for that.

I like the "We therefore can and will support Amiga DE and OS 5." line in the FAQ. (Although I have taken it out of context)

@Intuitioned

From the FAQ:

"Obviously, the new Amiga OS based on Elate IS covered by our existing license agreements as it is an OS developed and marketed by the Amiga Inc. We therefore can and will support Amiga DE and OS 5."

I would suggest an updated FAQ!

The "new Amiga OS" is neither based on Elate, nor is it developed or marketed(?) by Amiga Inc ... ... and what is really Hyperion's current plans for AmigaDE-support me wonders ...?

Can we use our old id's to get into the web site?

Or do we need to sign up and register all our games again?

-- EDIT --

Scrub that, I've just signed up and will re-register.

I'm curious, what was wrong with the old .com domain? I think .com is much more credible and also more importantly rememberable than a .biz :)

The old .com domain is a web server only. The new one is a dedicated, leased server, which gives much more possibilities.

Will the old website be deleted, and the the .com domain redirected to your new site?
That would stop some confusement (think people will use the .com domain for some time )
