Events   Events : OS4 Prerelease Parties are over ... And ...
posted by shoe on 20-Jun-2004 17:34:53 (4965 reads)
... The winner of the Wild compo is: Fredrik of Syntax Society, with his Boing-Mobile. He was the only one done by the deadline, that's why there was no vote here on AW like announced earlier.

We had a great time, and I wish to thank everyone involved. And a big thanks to Hans-Joerg for the OS4 update/Q&A! For more information about the other contests and more pictures check out www.acggbg.org

The "monster" was built by the same man who owns the car, Fredrik.. quite a productive fellow, that. You should see his A500 tower.. :)

Sounds lika a cool event!

Now, it all boils down to this question: How do I get my Freespace to run on AOS4?

You need a beta-version of the freespace executable, which will be available for registered users on the Hyperion site once it's fully done :)
The one I have (and showed off at AmiGBG) seems very mature so hopefully it won't be too long now.

Can someone tell, what Hans-Joerg Frieden said in his more or less official(?) "status update" ?

The interview was actually filmed so I guess it will be public soon.
