Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : New Team Members
   posted by DaveyD on 12-Jul-2004 19:46:43 (5291 reads)
The team at Amigaworld.net would like to welcome new members Bodie and Bodie_CI5 to the team as site moderators. This is due to the increase in site traffic and the need to cover other timezones.

So please give them a warm welcome, I'm sure most of you already know them.

Does that mean that their primary work here as moderators will be to moderate themselfs?

Congrats Bodies! You've certainly earned it. In fact, don't you guys own this site?

@ALL

Well! I certainly am caught up in the emotion here! This is truly very humbling. Thank you all very, very much for your show of support. It is my hope that I will be able, in sync with the already great team here, continue to provide the service and ethos that www.amigaworld.net is reknowned for. I look forward to this new chapter in Amigaworld's, somewhat short but very lively... well, life, helps us usher in the OS4 period in a very accomadating manner. These are truly exciting times that lay ahead of us. However, it is what we make of it, but the dedication shown by all of us to our beloved platform, truly is most re-assuring. I am honoured that I have been chosen to serve not only this portal, but also, and possibly even more importantly, all of you.

Cheers! The 50th one is one me!

@turkamigaman

hehe, my friend! I hope you are well, it truly is nice to see you here again... don't run off again you hear! Unfortunately, I was not able to post in this article earlier because of work... no internet access there for now.

Long live Bacanos! and long live the oud!

@The_Editor

hehe, the Cortina stays here

@Outcast

Haven't seen you in a while . Indeed, and I enjoyed being you for the five minutes... and to think I had even contemplated leaving here!

@all

Thanks once again.

With apologies to FDR...

"13 July 2004, a day that will live in infamy..."

Now what are we supposed to do now that the inmates are running the asylum?

You need another one to play when the computer is actually ready to use.
Maybe add more for malfunctions and then we'll have music all day.
