| Hurray for the Aweb team! Good work. I think this is the first fully native OS4 browser? That is excellent.

Yes I get the same problem. IBrowse will always crash after exiting AWeb, and/or window movement is effected with a slow down to the opaque movement.
Bean.
P.S. Great to see this program emerging on OS4!Last edited by Bean on 31-Oct-2004 at 08:36 AM.

I had that problem too until I increased the stack even futher, i.e. 500,000 _________________ Join the Amigaworld.net Supporters Scheme and get your Supporter Tag

| I was able to read through this thread, and apply STACK and PlugIn recommendations. Even so, I had to refer back to my settings on AWeb-II 3.4 on the A2000 . . . . I was getting those annoying GIF Warning Requestors in the left-upper corner until I configured the PATH to the Plug-Ins (Name)! Now, I have to copy the Arguments used in AWeb-II 3.4 . . . | @thread
I've done some intial investigation of the stack and other apps go unstable problems, and found the following.
Crash on exit: Up the stack to about 50k and this one goes away.
Instabilty in other apps: By process of elimination this appears to be due to javascript.aweblib. Don't have any idea what it's doing (or not doing) but if you switch off javascript (menu "settings/ browser settings") or simply remove javascript.aweblib then IBrowse no longer crashes after AWeb exits.
Increasing stack to the huge values quoted on this thread seem to have no effect here and I think were probably coincidental.
I'll get to work on this and hopefully release a fixed version soon. _________________ BroadBlues On Blues BroadBlues On Amiga Walker Broad

| I downloaded the latest version and it works like a charm on my AmigaOne. Is there a possibility to add a 'tabbed windows' system into AWeb? I find it extremely handy to be able to open several sites in one window in IBrowse, would be nice to have a similar feature in AWeb.
Many for the AWeb team for your hard work which brought the first OS4 native web browser into our use _________________ "Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others." (Groucho Marx)
