1) Any plans to use MAC OS hardware.. (heresy?)
2) Why only 20 questions? If someone has a new question after the last?

Question:

What are your plans for the server market? Will you be assisting with LinuxPPC (or even BSD) support for the AmigaOnes?

1) What about full scale desktop motherboards. Not everyone is intrested in uA1 line computers. XC should be very nice to complete AmigaONE product palette, is there plans to make it happen ?

2) Will there be more XE motherboards, in case XC will not be avail.

3) What is rough time scale for G5 processors ??

4) Will there be some plans to repair/fix hw-faults or replace whole SE motherboards ? Some kind of pay-more, get-XE/XC should be ok for me...

Can Eyetech prod MAI to release the status of the AGP support in linux? If it is working, what are the chances to get the sources?

Pretty please, with sugar on top....

Question:

There are some concerns from a few people in the community about the chances for new companies wishing to licence hardware for AmigaOS 4. Amiga Inc have stated that any such licence approvals will be made in consultation with their partners (i.e. yourself and Hyperion), so as not to interfere with their business plans. Can you assure people that Eyetech will not hold a monopoly and will welcome other hardware solutions?

This is the good question(what about Shark, ACK....b PLAN......) ?

Thanks. It was based on some stuff I picked up during the Q&A about people trying to get the Pegasos licenced, not to mention the AHT STB.

Prioritise (to the best of your ability) what your aims are?

1.Getting new hardware out, i.e. µA1-I, Freescale Based Motherboard, CPU Upgrades.
2.Increasing Support for the exsisting User base, i.e. Fixes for SE, Linux Probs, etc.
3.Better organisation of sales and after sales support from dealers.
4.Publicity and New Markets for Hardware.
5.Making enough money to stay afloat!

(See five questions in one, and it just requires a simple answer, i.e. 5,4,2,1,3. Plus a
little more if feeling generous.)

Why was the descision made to called a Mini-iTX based motherboard the Micro-A1 and not the Mini-A1? Are there copywright restrictions? Does someone like the greek letter µ?

Are there any plans to follow the trend to Nano-iTX?

Could the µA1-I be made low profile, i.e. single height backplane, no components/heat-sinks taller than that? I believe it would make the design more flexible for Indusry and Consumers.

I've got plenty more where that came from too!

Others have already asked this questions but it's the only thing i want to know so i too have to ask them =)

1. Will there be a new batch of fixed and enhanced XE boards.

2. Is the XC still planned for a later release. (Deppending on how good uA1 sales are offcource)

Hi
My question:
1. Is there any plan to create fanless version of Micro-A1 with onboard DC-DC converter (12 V DC input voltage)?

2. Is there any plan to create a version of Micro-A1 with onboard Infiniband adapter?

3. Is there any plan to create a mil-spec / hardened components version of Micro-A1?
Thank you.

I only have one question for Alan:

- I have the microA1-C, which is said to be able to handle up to 2 gigabytes of RAM. How is that possible with only one SODIMM slot and with no SODIMMs bigger than 512 megs available?

If some of us only uses AOS4 which is still on dev...(my case XE -model)
on the A1 could we tell from some product number for faulty machines and where
is the fault?

For me the SIL-card is ok, never tested the original but still would be good in
the future for more eg. hd:s. Also an ethernet card, SB Live, Radeon..
slots are being used...

Usb? only mouse tested so far, that works!

What about strange lockups, is it the
South Arctia or something or the Beta AOS? I know the disk drive will never work,
(without Catweasel AddOns...) also the sound so the SB Live! works here.
What should we do with these M/B:s and where.?.
I personally bought an 1500 Euros system and would offcourse like it to work
and offcourse 933 MhZ would be nicer than 800...
This text is done by my A1 but:

-Should we fill all the expansion slots with "fixes" and never be able to put
anything extra we needed by getting these slots?-

Thank You for the answer allready and best luck! The A1 still rocks but
You are too silent sometimes, it's changing, something comming no? :)

This Question can be edited shorter by an native English -professional but this
questions me the most at the moment, not yet worried about the new A1:s,
better get these working or some would never upgrade and go back to the A1200
like me or pc like the most would.
