@freaks

How did I know you were a Linux user oh yes because your probably a grown man with the political maturity of a 15 yr old.

If I compiled a list of pro's n' cons of Windows vs Amiga you'd be in friggin tears mate.

How do you expect your userbase to grow if you insult other PC users CHOICE most switcher will come from somewhere and if you want Amiga to get enough support to be remotely useful by todays standards your gonna need to win over a few Windows/X86 users.

Strangely I used to find it refreshing that there wasn't much of that zealotry here but having read 2 new threads in 1 day infested with juvenile comments my feelings are starting to change.

Why am I here?
Because as an A500 years I am interested in the platform, as a result I am watching the scene closely to determine whether or not I want to invest in the new platform.

If I asked you the same question of course the honest answer would have to be "Elitism" right?

You could feed a family for a year in your country with what you paid for that Amiga maybe you should spend more time considering at your own CHOICES.

@freaks

Relax mate, it's just an OS...

And secondly, take this as a bit of a warning: you do not state to the webmaster of this forum (who just happens to have posted this news article) that such and such a topic has no place in this forum.( )

That may be true in Asia for example, but unfortunatly, Big Companies in Europe are still using WindBloze...

I think it starts with a message "Something wonderful has happened..." Always write-protect your disks kids!

I love the idea everyone on this site (or in the world maybe) should go out and get a job as a Linux engineer. Thanks for that, Freaks. Really productive.
