@DaveAE:

Indeed, but this is what a betatester reported. Could be a coincidence.

Ikir, im 100% sure you can pay with PayPal. Follow Toaks directions, and there will be a choice to use PayPal at some point.

anyway i used Ibrowse.

edit: btw the way, the paypal payment doesnt go to Cobra but it goes to regnet.

see here:

Dear tony aksnes,

This email confirms that you have paid Reg.Net $28.00 USD using PayPal.

This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *REGNET".

I've tried it, and it's really a neat program!

I'm experiencing too the "slow motion" effect with a pair of videos. I'm using AHI v6 and the SB128 v5.22 driver.

Probably the GPL crap that's going on at the moment. It seems DvPlayer indeed does break GPL.... They've apparently checked with a FSF lawyer, who said it was legal. Seemingly a complete dork.

Yeah, seems the blue trolls want DVPlayer because they know a good program when they see one (which isn't that often ).

How do they know that unless the code is available?

Aarghh... Even the demo is gone.

Cheers,

Bah! That's not even close to the truth.

There was enough time to check this out. A lawyer was contacted. A library was created to escape GPL. Probably some more I don't know about.

Still, it failed. DvPlayer as it was released the 14:th is GPL. Tell me again why I paid for a program that won't live through the second day since release?

Regards,
Jocke 'Zerohero' Birging

They compared the binaries against liba52 structures, exact match. Now, what do you think?

Did your program stop functioning? If not why do you complain?

Please, consider the following: What would happen if the IBrowse plugin was released? When the new MooVid is released what will happen to it?

So yes, I'm a little disappointed about all this, at the moment.

Still, IMO this could've been handled a lot better...

@MichaelMerkel

A52 Codec is an Audio component to decode A52/AC-3 audio. (Used in DVD's)

Dunno who "they" are though.

Lets hope it can all be resolved.

Cheers,
Bean.

"They" are "the blue trolls" that brouht up the matter. liba52 is the AC3 codec library. It's license is GPL, not LGPL which would've made things easier.

The demo isn't available at the moment, It's been removed from the site...

Regards,
Jocke 'Zerohero' Birging

edit: typo fixed!
