Troika Progress Report

Please read on....

Before we start...
We would firstly like to thank all those who have written emails wishing us luck with our project. Its the enthusiasm of you, the users that drives us. Thank you!

Beta Testers
Many of you have expressed an interest in becoming a beta tester for the "Prometheus" motherboard. Rest assured, that we have been working this plan out. Please address all inquiries about beta testing to us, and not Hyperion, they have OS4 to finish, and we all need it done.

Sales/Dealers
Again, we are overwhelmed by the interest expressed by many dealers and individuals about selling our product, we apologize for not returning your emails, We haven't forgotten you, but our total focus currently is getting the new motherboard completed. Rest assured, we will be in touch.

About the "Prometheus" Board
The place to visit on September 24th, Big Bash 3 UK. and the launch of our web site.
We look forward to releasing more details to many of the questions that have been asked.. Provided all our electronic parts show on time, we will have one of our prototypes available at Big Bash 3.

Wow. Too cool! I don't know what it'll feel like to actually have choices of Amiga manufacturers.

Excellent!

Btw., are you handling OS4-license later on, or do you have it already for your products?

I just want to thank all people involved in giving me this awesome birthday present, one more time many thanks to all involved!

Unfortunately due to some constrains (namely the fact of Portugal being further away from UK then the reverse) it will not be possible for me to be present and take advantage of such grand gesture. I will be forever grateful, and will be present in spirit on the event in this magic day where I celebrate my 27th birthday.

Complaints about moderation should be addressed to the webmaster, or an administrator not used to sidetrack, derail or otherwise whinge about what aw.net does or does not cover on a news item. Your account has been suspended for 1 day for breaking the moderation and adjudication rules, going off topic and appearing to wish to only want to start a flamewar, making mean spirited remarks about agendas etc. See Terms and Policy.

If you have a genuine complaint, as always, take it up with the site staff. I am guessing from your comment you have posted some kind of news item that has been rejected? If so, get in touch over PM, if not, and aw.net doesn't cover all your news interests, use google to find other news outlets that do and use it in combination with other sites. Or alternatively you could go to one of those sites that rip off everyone elses news items and posts them automatically without crediting the source. - Wiffy

Ah, you miserable git

The news item really is a "please wait until 24 September for more info" plea. Troika were trying to keep quiet, but little bits keep getting out and generating excitement...

btw, i guess troika's promethus has nothing to do with the promethus pci board right? ... well that name is bound to cause some confusion if theyre related or not.

@Toaks
Correct. Nothing to do with each other at all. It was mentioned in another thread somewhere that this was accidental and there might be a name change iirc

Buy it and be quiet. I hope something finally comes up. I believe that something will as I am writing this with A1XE. My "dreams came true"

If this is ain't gonna work, well I'm used to it but the best of the luck for
this company.

By the way, my misterydevice is going to China(Then maybe to Spain and USA for some sightseeing), it is a preproductionrun with a IBM socketed G61800/2000MhZ, integraded with a ATIRadeon12000 and a SBDEATH! These items are only available for Amiga users, pc users will be looked down upon us. The cost is 3780 Euros/board, I think it will cost You 5000 next year. Additional costs for really old hard drives and memories are available. Please don't pull Your hair away. Thanks.

Sept. 19th. update

Sorry to report and disappoint that I can't make the BB3 show, as I have taken ill. Lost my voice on monday, and spent last night coughing, not sleeping. Troika has shoes only I can fill, sorry.

Hope the hard work many of our Troika members will be enjoyed by all in the future. Many are working many hours to get items ready for BB3.
