I bought my first X86 system this year purely for running Amithlon. I was impressed with C4D rendering speeds on my friends Athlon 750. He didn't seem very interested in Amithlon anymore so I took it off his hands.
You seem to have much the same set up as me, I dont have the SCSI or 060 on the BBPC 96MB and I killed my TV-card. At the moment I only have a Blizzrad 1260/66 plugged in. The 040/25 on my BPPC pretty much sucked at anything useful. Last edited by Rob on 21-Dec-2005 at 12:12 AM.

as for the 1200 setup, yeah after the mediator became pop seems nearly everyone upgraded to it along with a ppc , mediator was a nice way to get people to upgrade and ofcourse going rtg (which many never wanted before mediator came).. and hehe i hope desert racing will run great on it

| We cant upload the Demo to the Aminet (to big).
the Demo are on the CoverCD from the next Amiga Future (issue 58) or on the Update/Demo CD from APC&TCP

As I recall, Genetic Species (the full game) was some 180MB split into about 10 archives.
Freespace was around 12+MB, Shogo was something like 7MB, Payback was about 7MB.
I do not remember Aminet having a restriction on file sizes, but if you think there could be a problem, why not go the GS route, and upload it in several archives of 10-15MB.
However having said this, the screenshots for this game do look awesome. It would be nice to see how playable this title is first, hence the many requests for a demo. I am sure many people like me could either play it on UAE or their real Amiga.

i understand the answer. 100-1000 user with 230 MB download in a small time are many, many traffic...
