Thanks Paul!

I really love the skinning ability of the new TuneNet (as well as the additional functionality that has been added).

I do have a question though: Is there a way to save Shoutcast stations to the playlist, and not just local HD files?

Bug report:
The Tunenet prefs do not remember the AHI unit number that is selected.
Tunenet seems to lock the audio so that no other program can use it until Tunenet is closed.

Next version - I disabled it as there were some problems.

If you want to use TuneNet with other programs install the lastest AHI
and use the Unit 0 AHI mode driver (not the ones in TN's preferences).
The Units in the preferences don't work yet (I should have disabled them
really.)

@All,
The docky display is the result of under a months work while juggling normal
everyday life and work (and that includes learning the docky / application API
from scratch and programming the simple gadget routines), improvements will be
made (like choosing the dock, adding the app name etc..), but for now I'm
sure you can all make do. I've noted the suggestions so far and hopefully
you'll all have some more. I'll see what I can do next year.

Now someone have a look at the description file for the default docky and make
some new docky skins eh! I want to see some on OS4 depot in the new year!

Cheers to all your good wishes! Merry Christmas,
Bean.

Edit - Smilies Added

You (and your team) did amazing work with the TuneNet docky.

I will see if I can put a new skin together for TuneNet in the near future.

I just gotta say, there's a certain 'cuteness' with those iPod like dockies. And, if I'm not mistaken, is that a TIIIINY little boing ball in the corner?

I think I may have to get to work & see if I can come up with a skin or two.

FuZion.

Thanks, good stuff! Merry XMas!

I have one problem though: When I try to save a playlist into the default directory, TuneNet says wrong file/directory name (seems it cannot cope if there is nothing entered in the directory field in the requester). When I save it to ram: I get an empty file. I'd like to have some default playlist, which is automatically loaded when I start tunenet, e.g. so I could start it iconified and I could instantly step through my preferred stations without having to open/load anything. Is that possible?

Actually it is! Try starting it from CLI with TuneNet -playlist

:D

I still get a 0 byte file when saving the playlist. Bug? Or not implemented yet?

Ahha, when I add mp3 files to the list, they are saved into the playlist, radio stations are not.

They do indeed look pretty cute! LOL! But they work very well too...

Got any in the works yet?

It didn't take much work to go from my original "example" image to the finished Docky. Just load the image into PPaint, and you can easily find out the coordinates of each piece.

Looks great.

Is it already possible to scan for eg. all channels playing rock?

@miksuh,

Yep, do a scan and use the find facility using "rock" as the keyword..

..or use your web browser on the Shoutcast site to search, and then click
to listen.

Cheers,
Bean.

P.S. New version + Ogg Vorbis plugin available very soon..
