Thanks for the demo.

I have a problem on three files when unarchiving on OS4.

DrDemo/Global/Menu3
DrDemo/Global/Menu3e
DrDemo/DL0/BAU

On testing on OS4 it complains of no fastram.

I appreciate it hasn`t been done specifically for OS4.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.

Mark

ARGH seems its a corrupt archive, sorry about this guys... I'll try to get AndreasM to repack and resend to me...

So much for putting it online at 3am this morning when I got in just so it'd be online in time for Christmas Day (well in the UK anyway).

@Amigaz

I downloaded it about 3 hours ago or so, and got a CRC error upon extracting the files. I don't think it's resolved yet. This is what I got on OS3.9 AmigaForever 6.0:

I think I will have to hold off then until the all clear is given as I am only getting about 8K/s here, and cannot afford to download a corrupt archive of 200MB.

Bit of a pity as I was looking forward to seeing how this game is.

This game looks pretty cool!
Shame I have no Classic Amiga to play it on anymore.

Rude!

I downloaded it anyway, and got the corrupt DLO/BAU error. I unpacked it and ran the game first using the mediator/voodoo3 and found it pretty slow and stodgy.

I then tried AGA and it seemed a little faster but still too slow. In both instances there was a warning requester that appeared in German, but I couldn't understand it.

I suspect this maybe a config problem. BTW the objects on the side of the track were corrupt, I assume that was the archive error.

My system is a 1200 060 with 180 megs of ram.

I can only apologise guys, but I did my best!

AndreasM is going to send me out a CD with the demo on so I can archive it up here and then upload it.

@Those expecting it to be resolved by now, just a reminder it is Christmas day here and Ive spent it with my family all day, only just got sat back at the computer now.

I assure you your effort was greatly appreciated

I managed to unpack the archive with OS4 UnArc, with the three files broken as mentioned above. Maybe those files could be made available separately so that people won't have to download the whole archive again?

Man, the demo is huge, over 628 MB unpacked!

Next step is to burn the thing to CD-R and copy it to my A1200.

@Angus

So the demo works despite those broken files? I guess I'll have to test this tomorrow then - gotta go to sleep now

@GrumpyOldMan

Yeah, one step ahead of you there. Trying to get a small additional archive sorted out now with just the 3 broken files in.

Info: The thing doesn't work on Pegasos/MorphOS (opens the CGFX screen properly, then it starts to bang (non-existing) CIA-registers like crazy)... So i expect this not-to-work on A1/OS4, unless OS4 includes some CIA-emulation magic, which i highly doubt. Should work on MorphOS/PowerUP though, i will test it later. I'd like to see reports about OS4/classic version. Unfortunately none of my classic machines have 600MB free on one partition...

@Framiga:
AFAIK it's not the same. The MOS one seems to be spelled "Ralph" and this one "Ralf".

Alex.
