I am not aware of Candy Factory being the flagship of MOS. And I also think MOS shouldn't been brought to this thread, this is Amiga related thread. But now that you have, I'll just mention this: it's useless to start hooraying about Candy Factory 2 for two reasons...

1) CF2 is not here
2) OS4 is not here

Maybe continue discussion when those two things are finished?

I see a great many things discussed that are not finshed every day in mags news papers & on the net.
It is the norm even Pegasos/MOS was way before they turned up.

I read reviews of SW in the making all the time.
And there are many console/Computer realated TV shows that show SW & games that are in the makeing.

Movie trailers of films that are not finshed yet ect...

If we'd have OS4 and a (even an early) demo of CF2 then there would be more things to discuss. Or even a featurelist of CF2 etc.
We could then talk of future features, bugs, addons, exchange ideas, provide textures/fonts and that sort of thing. Sadly the current situation have resulted only one topic: Candy Factory for MOS or not?

Well, then I guess astronomy magazines should never talk about the international space station
On a serious note, if magazines and websites (especially science related ones) talked only about stuff that was "finished" I think we'd see only history mags and sites.

Candy Factory is a pretty fun little program. It was pretty slow on my A1200 030 50 mhz machine. I was amazed when I used it on UAE and the lighting was... REAL TIME!!
