What's this then? 'Later this month it will show off a "new breed" of gaming PC.'

Just a souped up PC or the basis of something more? What a shame the Amiga rights are not in the hands of CBM - I never thought I'd say that!

The New Commodore seem to be really passionate about taking the past into the future. I wish they still controlled the Amiga.

Maybe they'll partner with Genesi/MorphOS for a Commodore branded Amiga Compatible machine.

Actually I'm quite looking forward to what they've got.

Wouldn't that make it redundant? Isn't GP2X doing just as fine as been an awesome C64 portable system?

Who are CBM? These new machines have been announced by CIC and TCF

Wouldn't it be great if companies like Ainc and Elbox had a counting clock!

I hope it is not just a standard pc.. But i must say that what commodore has done so far is way more impressive than what the amiga owners has done since the demise of commodore.

I wouldn't get too excited. Probably a high end PC with a nice case. But if they produce a good combination/price/support then I would certainly be interested in having the old logo back on my main machine again!

why not get excited?.... and yeah it is probably a high end pc, but what so.. commodore is cooler than a dell isnt it. what i am most concerned about is how they are gonna design the pc case/tower....

You are right. It sounds like just a prebuilt Wintel box branded by Commodore. I have no interest. I can build a cheaper box myself as can most people here. - Lars

Well I find myself very excited.....please let it be with Amiga Inc...what a turnaround for history :)

Problem I have is i think I have built my hopes up and they will be dashed....RELEASE A NEW AMIGA FOR GAWDS SAKE

My salvation (sanity) depends on it

It would start at 14 days, count down to 0 and then automatically reset to "2 more weeks!"

I don't know about anyone else, but the Commodore brand does nothing for me. I was never a fan of the C64 or anything else, just the Amiga.

Kind regards,

Francis.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if this didn't end with some kind of joint venture with Amiga Inc.

They [Commodore] said back along that they were talking with Amiga Inc.

Who knows!
