Software News : AmiTwitter Ver. 0.27 Public Beta Release 2 |

New features of this release include full localization. Catalogs that have been completed thus far: Deutsch, Español, Français, Polski, Nederlands, Italiano, Greek. More are planned or in work. If you are interested in doing others please contact me.
Other features that have been added to this version include a number of characters typed countdown for Tweets and Direct Messages (thanks JahC!).
Also new menu items include most recent Direct Message -> Sent and most recent Direct Message -> Received. The logo size has been reduced and enhanced to better represent the Operating Systems it runs on, Modern looking .png button images courtesy of Martin "Mason" Merz.
International Character Support via codesets.library has been implemented! This allows for a much better display particularly of international characters output. Feedback in general and donations have been few and far between... please consider making a donation or sending an email.

I'm working to complete my translation that, to be honest is quite terrible right now but, in my first try ("for real") I note a strange thing, a lot of word remain in english, 50% of the program is in italian but the rest is in english, any tips ?

| I have no way to test the OS 4 version that was released, but I believe it's because the version that Cyborg compiled had some of the Locale stuff disabled. I also, believe it will crash if you select Direct Message -> Received. Other than these issues, which I fixed for the OS 3.x and MorphOS versions, they are both working nicely without glib. Again, thank you Cyborg!
Anyhow, the code is up on SourceForge that should fix these issues, but I haven't successfully compiled it for an OS 4 target yet. As I still don't have a proper build environment assembled for AmiDevCpp.

Yeah if you get lucky and strike during the 1 in 5 times the bloody site is not having issues, or showing the fail whale. Ok I exaggerate, but using the web interface is painful. |

Dependency on glib removed for all OS's thanks to Cyborg! First OS 4.1 version. Updated swedish, italian catalogs and all FAQs. New program icons added courtesy of Patrick Jung. Countless bug fixes, again thanks to Cyborg! More robust download of Timelines (and images), (NULL) Location: fixed to "n/a", many more. Feedback in general and donations have been sparse...please consider making a donation or at least sending an email (or Tweet!) if you like or dislike AmiTwitter. Most improvements are inspired by user's requests...

Yes I first started out ProTracking around.  But later went on to use a more modern OS3 interface. I got used to it I guess. |
