What prevented Hyperion, Acube, A-eon to fully use the Amiga name or brand till now? I really can't get this point.

Because a price quoted to Hyperion would likely be somewhat higher than a price quoted to either C=USA or icontain?

Still, could be worse. And yes, I would imagine Amiga Inc would quote Hyperion license fees somewhere on the order of what they offered to sell out to DiscreetFX for.

This doesn't have any sense. Are real, accurate and, most important, precise LEGAL information about to who is the "REAL" proprietary of the Amiga brand and all of it's assets? Who retain all Amiga patents and logo etc???? Was the previous trial a fake or what?

No need to tell me so. I've been using MorphOS since the Mac mini release.

The Amiga name still gives me warm fuzzies but, at the end of the day, I just want a computer that looks and works like an Amiga. I'm certainly not religious about it.

I'd use AROS too if I could get it working for more than a few minutes without it crashing hard.

EDIT: I should clarify that I have nothing against AOS4. I'd like to pick up a SAM, but the price has been prohibitive to me so far.

From the design work I've seen on the A500x's case, the name "Amiga" is apart of the plastic case. This is of course subject to change until C=USA initiates "cutting steal" on the mold (or mould for the British spelling).

Not agents any the Amiga name being using in none combative way,

for example on TV's, Stories, DVD player and monitors.

But when the brand using on standard Intel and AMD PC's that does not run AmigaOS.

When there AmigaOS name in use by Hyperion and there are computers called AmigaOne being sold, this will just make confusion.

I actually doubt many follow Amiga purely for the name (the very idea may even be an invention of some trolls). Rather the name is a convenient label for those things they like about it & associate with it. Although some people would rather use a different label for similar things (partly for legal reasons & partly not).
