noticed that the knobs are no longer located inside the containers instead the reside on top of the containers spilling slightly out over the containers look at the sliders of opus for instance, but the window sliders shows it too (just not as prononced). that will make the borders of windows etc. to look less flat.

Ways better! It looks like previous suggestions from various users did pay off

Most changes are to be final in my opinion.

I would ask Mason to no longer bother adding dithered shadows to icons. Soon, we'll be able to render RGBA icons. Also, the glow effect should be rendered by the system in my opinion. One can easily enable or disable the effect upon selection of icons. This way, we keep consistency.

I am curious to see how would active textboxes look with a lighter background color.

Some applications have different levels of gray as the background color. I would recommend looking into it to insure consistency.

As someone previously mentioned, the brushed metal pattern could be better. I could make a smoother one if needed, but I'm sure it's just priorities.

Excellent work!

Look much better, tho I feel the text boxes and list boxes should be white or near white to give it even more contrast, having said that, overall I feel it looks great.

I have a question - will the 'bar' on the left side of the window actually do anything this time round? I never liked it much as it looks too much like a gadget but was just a graphic taking up space...

If you drag it to the top, your data will be expanded to fit the whole harddrive, if it's dragge to the bottom the data will be compressed, and if dragged to the absolute bottom it will format the drive.
Now thats a useful feature!
