Nice to hear !

But.... I hope there is enough money and developers at their disposal to move all that purchased software forward.

Personally I'd like to see midi supported thru camd.library first :)

I could not agree more.

CAMD gives a path to joystick MIDI ports, or a wide variety of USB MIDI devices.
We even have a SoftSynth that is driven directly from CAMD now.

But I might be a bit biased, I probably have a few more CAMD ports than most users.

Used Oktalyzer, Sound and ProTracker.

Maybe this is good with our "NG" Sounblaster Lives.

What about Roland electric drums next here. Can I stick it to the XE then?

Let's make music if ok. You Play the riff and I'll do the drums and maybe words for the song.

@amigakit

Does that include any of the work that was made on OctaMED SoundStudio 2, or will any future developments be starting again from the base OMSS 1.03 sources?

Well this news really makes me happy. Lets hope new OctaMED S.S. will be better than current DigiBooster. I will definitelly buy it & support your efforts.

p.s. I've just ordered AmigaOS 4.1 FE disk from AmiKit :)

Here is an idea - build an embedded OctaMED device using a Minimig implementation with MIDI-ports.

I sincerely hope that Trevor has licensed the V2 beta codebase so that development can continue from where Kato Dev stopped. The 1.03 code is tremendously old, almost undocumented, heavily dependent on SAS-C, with assembler parts, custom MIDI implementation (no CAMD), etc. It will take ages to make anything usable out of this.

Finally I can put The Maestrix to rest!

But I wonder, even SS is now old code, what about the code from the newer PC version? Is that still being sold?
