With the Cow3D demo I get 114-119 FPS on my Sam460ex with a Radeon HD7750.
zzd10h is reporting 90-95Fps on his X1000 with a Radeon R7-250X.
SinanSam460 is reporting 130FPS on Sam460ex with Radeon R7-265 Last edited by Spectre660 on 02-Apr-2015 at 03:53 PM.

If you are an AmigaONE X1000 customer, you get the RadeonHD v.1.4 Driver for free as it is included with your original X1000 purchase.

| Installed RadeonHD 2.7 on my Sam460 equipedd with a Radeon HD 4650.
Tested many things and all is OK, did not noticed any malfunction, all is just working.
Games in 2D using composite and SDL are OK.
Videos play as before.
Wazp3D games OK too.
The only one strange thing: now Blender using Wazp3D (no Warp3D on a Radeon HD 4650, sob) shows strange colors, for example the about picture is somehow solarized and buttons too. Did not noticed this before when using the version 2.4 of the driver, or at least I do not remeber the issue.

Good news!
I got the update email but when I logged into AMIStore RadeonHD 2 wasn't flagged as updated. But have downloaded again anyway.
AMIStore then says it cannot process due to no MountDiskImage. Assume I just need to download this tool from OS4Depot and install? First time I've used AMIStore since installing FE. |

| MountDiskImage is an extra contribution on AmigaOS 4.1. You need to install it from the OS 4.1 Extras

Okay I see. Why I was asking mainly is because in the usual case code gets updated, moving into later versions, and combines fearures from all versions. A normal transition. |

| I just ordered the OS 4.1 Final Version for Sam 460 tonight. Does the Radeon Driver come with that or is that a separate thing I'd have to get? Also, how do you determine which version is specifically for the card you have? Thanks.

You have to buy RadeonHD driver on Amistore, you can choose between 1.4 (2D ready) revision and 2.7 revision (2D & 3D ready).
Moreover if you want to use 3D on your system you have to buy, always on Amistore, Warp3D driver for your gfx (atm only southern graphic cards are supported, in the near future also evergreen graphic cards will be supported) |

FE for the 460 has a lite version of the Radeon HD 1.x driver. I think you're limited to 1280x1024 or something so need to install the full driver. Do you already have a copy of the full driver? |

| FE driver is limited to 1024x768 and no compositing- it is classed as an Emergency Driver only.
