I was wrong.
I did something that I should REALLY know better than to do.
My last rant was written while I was angry, and I regret adding noise to the channel.

I am grateful (and impressed) that no-one carried it further down the ugly path.

I'll try to cool off before any more wild rants.

We all need to blow off a little steam at times and the constant carping and nitpicking over anything or anyone involved some way with OS4 isn't helpful.

I looked at the collection of utilities and apps in the Enhancer package and did not see a lot of direct utility for me personally. However I am going to purchase it to support further development.

I did have a question for anyone that has already installed Enhancer. Is there a single install process for the entire disk, or is it a collection of individual installs?

Also, after installation, what was the biggest positive(s) you saw?

Hi

The Installer is a single installation utility and it can be configured to install what you want from the package. There will be extra app, classes and libs added in future update to customers who purchase this package.

See Epsilon's review of the installation of the Enhancer Software here:

@Daedalus

In my case it is the original 9200SE I bought for myself. And back then I was told that, it will not only work with OS4, IIRC it will not work in UBoot. Well it was working fine with both and Linux all this time.

As it stands I can only trust it with Update 6. As soon as I think to switch to the new version I am reminded of how useful a black screen is. Not very.

@ Hypex

Curious, I had an XEg3 with a Radeon 9250 agp graphics card which worked fine with OS4.1 FE.

As I have bought some of the more expensive components separately before this enhancer package came about, and assuming it can be downloaded on line, I wonder if there is a mechanism for deducting items already paid for?
