Wow thanks for the update guys. I'm away for a few days so unfortunately My X1000 will have to wait for when I get back. Of speaking of the X1000 Ethernet driver appears to be missing from this update. Enhancer 1.5 perhaps?

edit: And there seems some bug: that news at top, about some kickstarter bounty are old one, and seems somehow shifts at top of news items.. Enhacer release for sure much more important, and kind of worth to be at top for a while , so everone can see it right away.

p50x0_eth.device works fine
But the MAC-Address in U-Boot shows not the same as Ranger/Network/Interfaces.
The X5000 has two RJ45 Network-connections, only the near the PCIe-Slot works,
the other over the USB-Ports not works. Does the driver only support one Port?
Can someone check that? Thanks

Oh no. That would make OS4 come without an internet stack. You'd install the OS and be back before the time of OS3.5 without any system software to get you on the internet.

And as for your other suggestion, that would make OS4 boot without any graphics, and no one could see it work at all, so no thanks.

Sure that suck , but waitting years for os updates which done years ago, kind of suck more. At least there can be always some simple and reduced versions of components which come with OS.. Yes, mess, but what else can be done to fix those years of waiting for os updates i do not know.

That would explain why the drivers don't download. However it still doesn't make sense that they are listed in the updates even if we can't download them. I bought the Enhancer package and especially the Plus pack to to get the latest Radeon drivers but it looks I will still have to locate an old Radeon card or pay more again. Which was my point of buying it in the first place. Of course it has been a separate before this.
