If you have a Yahoo email account, subscrive to Yahoo mailing lists / Groups (like the ImageFX ML), or do anything at Yahoo that required singing in, please listen up.
Yahoo has begun using a new tracking technology, referred to as Web Beacons, to trace where you surf outside of Yahoo servers. However - You can opt out!

Here is the mesage I recieved from a non-Amiga Yahoo Group. Just follow the instructions to opt out of this new snooper. Opting out must be done on every CPU that you use to log in to Yahoo. Each cnfiguration cookie must be changed.

If you're a member of a Yahoo group, read on. Yahoo is now using
something called "Web Beacons" to track Yahoo Group users around the
net and see what you're doing and where you are going - similar to
cookies.

Take a look at their updated privacy statement:

http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/pixels/details.html

About halfway down the page, in the section "Outside the Yahoo!
Network," you'll see a little "click here" link that will let you
"opt-out" of this new method of snooping. Once you have clicked that
link, you are opted out and taken to a new page. Notice the "Success"
message at the top the next page.

But be careful because on that page there is a "CancelOpt-out" button
that, if clicked, will *undo* the opt-out.

This is something NEW. Protect yourself if you don't want to be tracked.
