AmigaWorld - Amiga Community Portal

First hardware release by OnyxSoft

Date 21-Aug-2008 19:10:04
Topic: Hardware News

Here is the first hardware release from OnyxSoft. We have a new build-it-yourself project and software for it!

New hardware:

ParIR v1.0 - (OS4) This is a package that makes it possible to control your AmigaOne using any normal IR remote control, possibly from another room (your livingroom?) using a normal ethernet cable, and at the same time send your computer's sound through that same ethernet cable to this other room while still using the ethernet cable for ethernet!

It is also possible to only use parts of this project if you are only interested in audio-over-ethernet, or only getting IR codes into your computer.

See the readme for more information.
