IBM, Infineon Develop Most Advanced MRAM Technology to Date

IBM and Infineon Technologies AG announced that the companies have developed the most advanced Magnetic Random Access Memory (MRAM) technology to date. MRAM allows data to be kept in memory even while the computer is turned off. This new type of RAM should result into ?instant on' computers, allowing users to turn computers on and off as quickly as a light switch.
