At the AOSoLIN website a new patch for Richard Drummond's versions (Linux, OS X, AmigaOS and BeOS) of UAE has been made available: "Amirun is a patch for Drummond's uae which allow you to run directly an executable amiga file instead of the workbench. It is usefull if you want to run an HD-Game without dealing with your amiga workbench."
