WookieChat 2.3 released

WookieChat now has support for different languages, using Amiga's LOCALE system. So far, Mariusz Danilewicz (aka Mandi^ATO) has done a polish catalog, and Tommy Strand (aka Alef) has done a norwegian catalog. There's brief instructions in the Catalogs/ dir on how to create your own catalog for your native language. I'm expecting WookieChat catalogs to be typed up by 3rd parties and uploaded to aminet in the coming weeks/months! If you make one, feel free to email it to me for inclusion with the next release.

Read the changelog.txt for the full list of tweaks and bug fixes. One bugfix in particular has enabled Wookie to run on OS4 beta with the new memory system.

Both OS3.x and OS4 binaries are in the same archive.

What does this program do?

It allows you to connect to Internet Relay Chat networks (IRC!) and chat with other users in a text medium in real-time. Some of the server groups are preconfigured to join an Amiga chat channel upon sucessful connection.

WookieChat requires MUI + the custom classes: betterstring.mcc, nlist.mcc and nlisttree.mcc.

Get it from os4depot as I'm unable to upload files to my web space currently. It should be ready for download soon!

Register at my homepage for $15 usd! Or if you're too poor, dont worry about it because WookieChat is not crippled in any way!
