| Gimp is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. This is another alpha release of Gimp 2. Like in the last version, the plug-ins are missing, so you can only load and save pictures in XCF format. Also some filters are missing because of this. In spite of this, the program has a lot of image processing features.
Fontforge is an outline font editor that lets you create your own postscript, truetype, opentype, cid-keyed, multi-master, cff, svg and bitmap (bdf, FON, NFNT) fonts, or edit existing ones. Also lets you convert one format to another. FontForge has support for many Macintosh font formats. (Read more!)
