Since I receive a regular newsletter, I thought this might be of interest to fellow Amigaworld.net users.
"Freescale has developed a programmable logic control (PLC) reference platform to ease development of industrial control systems. The PLC in a box platform implements Koenig’s EtherCAT® Master protocol with ISaGRAF Firmware and QNX Neutrino® RTOS on the Freescale QorIQ P1025 processor. EtherCAT programmable logic controller reference platform delivers 1ms cycle time with less than one percent CPU overhead. Freescale’s QorIQ communications processors are integrated with support for communications protocols such as EtherCAT."
