Since I receive a regular newsletter, I thought this might be of interest to fellow users.
"Freescale has developed a programmable logic control (PLC) reference platform to ease development of industrial control systems. The PLC in a box platform implements Koenig’s EtherCAT® Master protocol with ISaGRAF Firmware and QNX Neutrino® RTOS on the Freescale QorIQ P1025 processor. EtherCAT programmable logic controller reference platform delivers 1ms cycle time with less than one percent CPU overhead.
