Hyperion are currently doing an optimized SDL port, and this is the current standings (of course,"optimized" isn't really captured in these pictures). Descent 2 has a few improvements over the first one - among other things you can shoot out the lights on the walls and ceilings, and the notorious Guide Bot (the bluearrow-shape in shot 3). Still software rendering, we're working on OpenGLintegration. |  |
