OS4 is the latest revision of the infamous Amiga Operation System, AmigaOS. You can read more about the history of Amiga OS here (link), and see some screenshots. To see the feature list go here (link).
AmigaOS version 4.0 currently requires one of the following bits of computer hardware on which to run:

( link )Blizzard PPC card for the Amiga A1200 series.
( link )CyberStorm PPC card for the Amiga A4000 series.

This OS has plenty of free software available for it on the archive site OS4Depot. There are also commercial software releases of:

(link) Audio Evolution, an audio recording and mixing package
