OK,

I installed Amigasys 4 on real amiga with blizzard 030. upgraded it to OS 3.9 version...

Now it only shows PAL driver in devs/monitors folder.

When I copy driver files there, select dblpal and resolution 600*512 after reboot OS ERASES all driver files exept PAL, and i can see that amiga is working in flickerfixer mode (PAL interlaced). Is this normal for amigasys?

I would like tou use dblpal mode since my monitorsupports it (for pal modes I have MV1200 scandoubler)

@amigappc

What do you mean by "erase" ? Did the files disappear from the Devs/Monitors directory ? Or are they still in Devs/Monitors but will not be executed during startup ?

For the latter case make sure that s:startup-sequence contains these lines or similar:

IF EXISTS DEVS:Monitors
IF EXISTS DEVS:Monitors/VGAOnly
DEVS:Monitors/VGAOnly
EndIF

C:List >NIL: DEVS:Monitors/~(#?.info|VGAOnly) TO T:M LFORMAT "DEVS:Monitors/%s"
Execute T:M
C:Delete >NIL: T:M
EndIF

For the former case wait until all HDD buffers are flushed before you reboot, especially if you use a third-party filesystem like PFS3. Wait at least five seconds and if the HDD light flickers wait another five seconds.
