MUI and other issues with 4.0 final

When I launch the MUI prefs. I get a Grim Reaper. If I ignore DSI, then it goes to the program, but the list of items on the left doesn't have anything listed. If selected, they seem to work, but I cannot see them, even selected. Also, FKey and Limpidclock cause Grim Reapers.

Anyone else with similar problems, and ideally, solutions?

Thanks!

@Nuder_Try

No Grimmer here... perhaps you've some old MUI classes installed? The IBrowse2.4 full version (or Demo? Don't remember yet) installs old NList classes, which lead to problems.

Check all classes and/or install only these classes which are on the OS4 Final ISO. After that reinstall all needed 3rd party classes step by step and check MUI Prefs after each. This way you will perhaps find the "bad guy" ;)

Limpidclock crashes here too! I couldn't make it work.

But FKey works with no problems.

@firbodi

I get Limpidclock to work if I ignore the DIS errors... I'll try Fkey again, might be messing something up...

@Nuder_Try

Have you tried to update your Limpidclock to the latest (1.17 AFAIR) version?

@Nuder_Try

Lclock works no problem here, in fact just about evrything is back to normal. Make sure when you copy old libraries over you do not copy over the latest libs,I had an old version of muimaster in my old libs: and when i copied over this played havoc.

Keep your sys:libs and Mui:libs as clean as possible.

Now the only thing left is the dial up connection issue. I have to try three times before I can get out, Does anyone else have a dialup connection issue?
