G'day fellow Aussies!

I am collecting a list of people in Australia who are interested in buying AmigaOS4.1. If you'd like the benefit of a discount then PM me and I'll add you to the list. You can also contact MC1 and register your interest.

We will be ordering these as a bulk package into the country. Then sending them out locally. Thus saving you money both on the product and packaging.

@acefnq

Yes I do realise we have been able to order OS4.1 for a while. But, I wanted to fill out the order, so posted here in case anyone else was interested.

It's getting harder to find Amiga dealers in Australia. AnythingAmiga is off the map and not likely to finish the month long update to the site from last July!

@Hypex

Will you be doing the same thing when (& if) there's hardware for it? I'm not getting OS 4.1 till I can get something I can run it on.

Yes, how about now?

Fancy a new Sam440 to run OS4.1 on. We could run a promotion. Fly into space with the Amiga440 space mission in a red trail blaze.

I'm keen to get a copy of the Sam440 AmigaOS 4.1. Can you PM me details. I first have to convince the other half I deserve it, and then get the money together, so I might not be able to get it straight away, but I am interested.

I guess that's why Doug's site doesn't even load anymore. Glad I pulled out of a 1200 order a year or so ago with him.

Anyhow, do we know what sort of money we're looking at for a SAM/OS 4.1 combo? I'll register some interest I've been toying with the idea of making a comeback to the Amiga scene, and would rather do it through new hardware than a tired 1200.

Probably for the best.

Fair enough. It looks like it's going to be about $1,500. Around the same figure as an A1 was.

Thanks Hypex. I'll keep that in mind! I guess the Aussie dollar sinking didn't help the pricing

I'll scrape some pennies together then. I've gotta have an Amiga soon - Windoze drives me insane, and Linux is worse ...
