| Four days ago i saw my skype blinking: it was EV, from Acube with that words: Inoming mail

Sam version? And you got an original pressed CD? Mine is a copy and they told me that I will get the original pressed CD with the final version of AmigaOS 4.1 for Sam.  _________________

I really don't understand this. I've heard before. Other people with a copied cd-rom, other people with photocopy manual. It's supposed that we paid 125 euros to buy the new AmigaOS 4.1, which of course is commercial. I really don't understand what's going on with the contents of the package. _________________

I think that who has get the photocopy manual have got an earlier version on the manual.
BTW, it's look like the good old day. It's time for a massive publicity of OS4.1....

Hmmm - that is bad. First off it makes it look like a pirate copy (even if it isn't). Also it reflects badly on Hyperion and the resellers.
With reports of ignored customers from ACube also surfacing I feel the logistics of OS4.1 distirbution need sorting before they get any worse._________________

We never sent photocopied manuals nor copied CDs to resellers or end users.
It was just a measure a few resellers took to minimize delivery time to customers (there was a delay printing the CDs...)_________________

A small not so important request
For next release (AmigaOS 4.2) would you please consider a better quality box. Mine was useless after going through the posts handling.
Perhaps a DVD cover would be better, the manual could probably fit inside the cover.

Hmm I got that crappy photocopy as well and the disk was in a cheap paper envelope rather than that nice plastic case. |

| How often do we check the photocopies ? I installed mine os4.1 for a1 once and its in my drawer in the dark. Never look on it.

If it's a copy until the pressed CD arrives that's not too bad... Mine too is a copy.
I got a manual with mine, and was very impressed with the quality and content. Being a bit of a geek when it comes to music and technology it always amazes me how useless the contents of manuals can be even from companies like roland or yamaha.
Of course maybe i'm paying So much attention to the manual because the sam hasnt arrived yet
