What are they doing? They should give info on the status of their work and what they plan.

Hyperion = AOS 5, 6, 7, whatever they want.

A Inc = Amiga Anywhere.

@Al4
Case 1: They wanted to use the Amiga trademark in order to stick it to some Idea they had, which incidentally had nothing to do with Amiga at all. They could release it.

Case 2: With their only financier, Dr. Pentti Kouri, Dead, they ran out of money and they will just fade into oblivion...

@AI4

Just downloaded (at a cost of $10) the company status from Delaware Division of Corporations:

Status: AR delinquent, Tax due
Status date: 03/02/2009 (ie 2nd March)

(From the website: "This represents a corporation that has not filed the required annual report and there are delinquent taxes due."

Looks like Amiga Inc isn't taking care of basic business anymore.

PDF available here.

EDIT: Changed linked file location (unlimited downloads)

@damocles

Partner!! this deal is a clear seperation of Hyperion and AInc now both partys can do they where doing, AInc can't veto any plans Hyperion has with AmigaOS and AInc can continue with Amiga NoWhere if they want, a good deal for both partys.

But partners you wish, they are now even futher apart.

Hopefully Amiga Inc. will make another stupid agreement to lose the hardware side of the technology if they don't deliver.

Wow, that's it then, if you read my previous post (Post #4) then I strongly believe it is "Case 2" we're talking about here...

and now it's time to see what troika realy can do with the promises like
''Athena has been on hold for some time, while awaiting the outcome of the lawsuit between Hyperion Entertainment and Amiga, Inc., or for an agreement to be reached with Hyperion.''

Ainc is Dead broke as per post #6, couple that with the fact that their Puppet Master and financier Dr.Pentti Kouri died last January, and you get the picture...

You better use that popcorn with a nice rented DVD...

@Al4

My only guess is that the only thing Amiga Inc can do now, is to continue with their Amiga Anywhere the way they did. For anything related to AmigaOS, they simply have to ask Hyperion Entertainment for full license, not the other way around! That's what i call justice

@kas1e

Actually he isn't joking. He will post this until it will be the accepted truth by some/many, no matter what any one says. He has always said Hyperion would lose the legal battle, now he have to change his story and this is what he came up with.

@damocles

I suggest you stop passing that for truth, and name it for what it is. Something you came up with while guessing what happened here.

After all the prophesies, I would guess that nobody would be dumb enough to believe these rumors, but it never ceases to amaze me what absurdities people like him can come up with when they try to cover up the fact that they have been wrong all along.

But hey, everybody is free to believe whatever they like, even if it's absurdities.
