| At the new Hyperion site i found this Warp3D version:
http://www.hyperion-entertainment.biz/download/Downloads/warp3d
Is there a new version of Warp3D adapted for AmigaOS 4.0 or is the old compatible version ?

We've been working on an OS4 version, but it's not in a releaseable state yet. It will be released, though, as soon as it is ready.
The version on the site is 4.2a, which is the latest official version for 68k and WarpUp._________________ Thomas, the kernel guy

Would that be Warp3D "nova" as mentioned in the OS4 PDF, or an incremental update to the current version?

This means that the NOVA 3D will be out in this version of AmigaOS ?

I believe the OS4 native Warp3D people are talking about here is more or less be a straight port of the current Warp3D to support existing software. Nova is a new interface designed to support more modern 3D functionality and will take time to implement. _________________ Doing stupid things for fun... |

Is it possible to develop Warp3D applications with the SDK in the Prerelease running Warp3D emulated or do we have to wait for the native OS4 version?
I was hoping to compile and run my Warp3D projects in OS4 when I get my Prerelease CD...

Theoretically yes. You can use the old header files, but you'd have to generate a compiler-dependant stub for calling the functions.
Alternatively, it's possible to generate a "legacy interface", which is a small binary that supplies the missing interface for PPC programs. I think the SDK mentions how this works..._________________ Thomas, the kernel guy
