I'm looking for some os 4.x testers for my blu manager. You'll need some(or many ) blu ray movies. Beware,it's really simple and useless atm. It's just for fun testing.

@bitman

Program that will help you create a list of your blu ray collection. You can type the barcode on the back of the movie or use a hand held scanner to scan the code for you.

Hi,

I´m in Australia, I have AOS4.1 and have about 6 BluRays (probibly more by the time you read this). I would be more than happy to help you out. I´d know if there was a problem because my system is very stable, no crashes as far back as I can remember.

Ciao,

Trevor Daley.

PS. My E-Mail is in my profile.

@Antique

Can your programme be used as a general database-type-thing? I.e., could you use it to catalogue your CD or DVD collection for example, or is it purely intended for BD use? I think you'd have a much wider audience if it was more general...

@Daedalus

I started out trying to make it general but that went a bit to complicated. So i'm now trying to focus on 1 thing first,blu rays. And then we'll see what happens after that.

@all

A little screenshot just to let you know how it looks now.

@Troels

Thank you, this link works fine, I could see the screenshot from the program, and I think that it is possible to do it for other things, DVDs, CDs, LPs, books, magizenes for example for Amiga Future, etc.

@Templario

Yes,it is possible. But for now i'll stick with blu ray. And who knows what the future brings.

My future "dream" is to set up my own database server. If/where/when i don't know.

@all

It's time to ask again for someone who wants to do some testing again. I know atleast some bugs that have to be fixed,but would be nice to get help finding the rest(probably many ). If you're interested, and have some blu ray movies then please PM your e mail adress.

How it looks today:

Hi,

I have about 100 region 2 Blu Rays that I could catalogue with this software on my Sam440.

Would be willing to test the software for you, if you wish, give me a PM.

@Antique

Great idea!

I have some ideas however..
* Is it possible to add IMDB ratings?
* Maybe even links to its page on IMDB?
* Personal ratings on each entry?
* What about technical stuff like screen format and audio format?
Maybe some nice logos of DTS-HD MA, DTS-HD HR, DTS ES, DTS, TrueHD, DD Plus, DD EX,
DD, PCM and MPEG. Also nice graphical representation for the channels, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 4.1,
5.0, 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1. Also Dolby Surround which is 2/1.0 with the back channel encoded into
the two front channels. These are all I know exist on discs.
* With this also available spoken languages and available subtitles.
* Is "YEAR" the theatrical release year or the blu-ray release year? Where do you get this
information from?

@Samwel

Starting to sweat after reading. Hehe. Ill try to answer as best as i can.

About imdb. I have no idea really,as i don't know anything about imdb site and how to obtain stuff there.

Screen and audio format can be added.
About the logos. It might be possible,not sure how to make it look nice,and eventually where to get the logos,since i can't draw.

Subtitle and spoken language should be ok to fix.

The year is afaik the prod. year. Found on back on some movies,rest i found on the net. It's not the release on blu ray atleast.

Hope some of the questions got answered. Or just fire away.
