This is for AmigaOS3.x . . .

I just finished version 2 of my OS4 VisualPrefs theme.

The gadgets should now be virtually identical to their OS4 counterparts (including the selected state).

I've also painted "wide" OS4 style birdie patterns for a more "authentic" OS4 look.

Heres what the "theme" looks like:

Very impressive work! I guess this is for the VisualPrefs-stuffs! I mostly like your icons! They are perfect!

Not too long getting myself the MicroA1-C, with Update 3 of Pre-OS4.0

Excellent work! I've only got one complaint. I used a couple of your icons to replace some pre-OS4 classic icons, but now they make the rest of my standard OS4.0 icons look shabby!!

Guess I'll have to update all of my icons with yours.

The next release should primarily be application icons plus a few requests that have been on my "list" for a while. Then I'll move on to the 300 or so "missing" OS4 def icons.

I've also been working on icons for a few other people's projects that will hopefully be released soon (can't say what they are!).

Masochist that I am, I've even been playing around with some "next-gen" ideas!

I'm pretty sure that I saw in on the install disk of some game or application 10-15 years ago -- and "copied" the look of it.

I don't remember for sure -- I just know that I've used it since 2.04.

Unfortunately, yes. You either need OS4 or a very very fast OS3.x machine (I have the latter).

There are couple of ways I know to speed things up . . .

The first is to disable PowerIcons -- the icons won't look quite as good, but it will be faster.

The second is to use the latest beta of the Scalos desktop replacement -- the icons still look good and the display is much faster.

ehhh...uhh...can one use Visual Prefs and Scalos at the same time?

I have many -- but my MAIN Amiga right now is an Amithlon box (Athlon XP 2400).

I'm HOPING to replace that soon with an ACK/1200 combo -- but since I haven't heard anything about it for a LONG, LONG time, I'm toying with the idea of getting a Pegasos.
