Amiga, Inc. grossly misrepresented itself to the people of Kent. Maybe it doesn't really matter to those people, if they don't want to "look a gift horse in the mouth". But in no way is Amiga, Inc. "the world's premier provider of multi-media enabling technologies" or the same company whose products are used in video work, or the maker of any significant technology products today, or big in Europe, or having several Asian units. I think it's a public service to point out these fabrications, a good thing to do. Would it be better if somewhere down the road the Kent people start wondering why there's no substance to Amiga, Inc.'s promises and claims rather than at least have an opportunity to get clued in at the outset?

(I don't know if it's made a difference or not, but the Kent city officials now have on hand the court documents related to Amiga, Inc.'s past affairs. As I said earlier, maybe they'd just rather accept the fiction and take the money without probing any deeper than necessary.)
