Not 100% sure if this is the right spot, but just noticed that the DLC Pinball Fantasies for PS3 on the Playstation Store mentions that it is a port of the Amiga verion from '92.

(It's in the PSP section, but is a PS3 game...)

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@Nuder_Try

you could edit the title, just for the sake of Amiga recognition on search engines

Amiga mentioned on Playstation Store (just to be safe)

@Nuder_Try

You don't worry for the classic jokes with the bad writing the words, I like the new name Playstion, a good name for Chinese imitation.

You should be able to buy "Lemmings" in the PS Store for the PSP. It is a conversion of the Amiga original. I wonder who we could contact to get them to release the "Shadow of the Beast" games to the PSP/PS3. They could choose the Amiga versions or the Lynx versions... All of that is Psygnosis IP which is owned by Sony.

You could try to contact R. J. Mical, actually he is Sr. Manager at Sony with responsibility for the developers tools and program IIRC... you can see him mentioned in various games' end-credits such as Ratchet & Clank for example

Wrong, it's a "PSP Mini" game, which was originally only for PSP, but newer firmware added support for running PSP Mini games on PS3 aswell.

Note: If you downloaded the game before updating to firmware that supports Mini games, you might have to delete & download (for free) it again to get it working on PS3.

And of course there's Pinball dreams aswell. PSP Mini game, so works on PSP & PS3.

Both are also available from Apple's App Store.

Thanks for the info. I guess I should read the gaming credits more often. He has a Facebook page but it is his personal page and not set up as a fan page. I've always wanted to thank him for the Lynx... ahem, Handy. :)

@Nuder_Try

There are other titles I had seen through the massive a-z list of PS3 games that reminded me of Amiga games.

One such title is ofcourse Super Stardust HD. Lemmings yes. Pinball there were two pinball titles, forgot them both, so Pinball Dreams sounds right, wonder what the other one was again, Pinball fantasies maybe?

Worms another.

Soon to be I hope, Alien Breed Evolution, has anyone got this game yet? I myself have not heard any news here in SkipLand (Australia)

Cheers

I think it is a station and You can go and play around there. Maybe in Japan. Not sure about that. There is one in the opposite to our building, swings, sandboxes and everything.

Too bad playstation store no longer works thanks to DRM crap and bugs. The system clock of all pre slim versions resetted to some random date today because 1 march was missing in system calender! This led to it being impossible to log on and even impossible to play games since the change of date made DRM system panic and remove all acccess to even offline games, trophies and so on. Even protected bluray discs seems to be affected and no one know if/when it will be fixed. Gotta love DRM and fuc*ing Sony.

You're fortunate Caveman, I have a fattie 60gigger, but too nervous to try it. I have not used it since last week Friday... therefore don't know yet if I have been affected or not, but anyways, I am waiting for a Sony fix... I am sure one is on its way!

Q!

Seems like you are one of the few lucky ones then. Nothing is working here
Some people say it might start working again in 24 hours, but i think that is #### as the hardware clock is stuck at 1999 with no way to change it. I tried even booting up ubuntu on it, but there is no way to get full access to hardware clock it seems.
