The average buyer has no idea what an OS is. Neither do they understand CPUs.
Ask WolfToTheMoon.

You could install Linux on any CPU, tell them it's windows, and they would not know the
difference. Put a few stickers on the front, , , and they're happy.

It's not that they're stupid, or anything like that. They just don't know, and could
care less.

Flip the switch, and start asking for help. And that's their vehicle I'm talking about.

The initial production run being 250 units makes sense. As far as I am aware, the 100 or so betatest boards are going to come out of this initial run too, so if the testing reveals something wrong with the initial run, its best if the number of units affected is as low as possible. I wouldn't worry about small numbers.
