I think they probably will. And as long as they sell everything they make with a sensible strategy for the future, A-Eon will do well. We simply have to trust that the X1000 has enough features to stand on its own next to a similarly branded PC. And on reflection, since it was only ever aimed at the enthusiast, I think it will.
Reflecting further, In a few years time and assuming both companies survive, we'll have two similarly branded but unrelated products. Who here confuses Hewlett-Packard with Packard-Bell, for example?
