To my utter amazement, someone at work gave me a copy of a film the other day... on a Commodore badged DVD!

I said, woah - "Commodore"?? Commodore are dead, right? Apparently not.

In what context were they displaying the Amiga Computers? Purely for nostalgic purposes I assume, because of course they no longer own Amiga.

What are Commodore up to these days?

@BrianHoskins,

You can find commodore at http://commodore.ca/ however this website only exists to give the pre amiga history of the company. Tulip computers currently own the Commodore brand and the website I just gave you is in no way connected to Tulip.

I think I've seen at least 2 products recently under the Commodore brand name, an usb memory stick and an usb flash mp3 player... I don't think those are Tulip products, but they might license the name to others for getting it (re)recognized?!

C= mp3 player

Yeh it was a 'classic' booth, but they were showing off some kind of webcamera, and something that looked like a walkie-talkie and a lot of other stuff. My plan was to interview them and post it here but I didn't have time

I'm getting the pics in a few minutes..

Something cool though was ATI. I had a meeting with their PR manager, and she was an amiga fan "hey I grew up with the Amiga" - she said. I think we can count on ATI, I got a good feeling from them. I told her about AmiGBG and she thought it was great with some Amiga shows

I started out on Atari, it's interesting to go into the store and pick up Unreal Tournament 2004 and its badged 'Atari'

it's kind of neat, even if its just branding. Of course, the old Atari is dead.

Hehe.. a bit slow I reply on this one, but I did not see this thread before now I also saw this AMICA logo at CeBIT this year.. and the logo seems to be too close to our AMIGA logo I almost forgot about this.. through my work, I know ERA DATA and talk with their sister company almost every day. ERA DATA is a system integrator and distributor located in Belgium. I think I better ask why they are using this logo
