I'm not ready for another release yet (soon), but I thought I'd let anyone who was interested download my current "working folder".

Some of the icons included (plus ALL of the icons in my "misfit" drawer) won't be in the final release (for various reasons), so this is your one chance to get 'em.

Screenshot

Download Here

Once again, these are GLOW ICONS -- **NOT** png icons!! -- They just look as good as png icons ;)

The main archive can be downloaded at OS4 Depot -or- IntuitionBase.

Talk to you later.

@Ryu

The icons seem to be gone -- did I submit them incorrectly?

@Ryu

Thanks -- I thought maybe I had done something wrong.

BTW when you click on the thumbnail, it opens up another window with the thumbnail (rather than the full sized image) -- should I send you another screenshot?

@klesterjr

I'm using your icons right now... really cool! congratulations!

Do you plan to release more icons for programs instead of drawers?

Keep up your fantastic work.

Yes, I'll probably do program icons (Workbench first) at some point in the near future (a couple of weeks?) -- just haven't decided how to approach them.

I've tried a straight repaint into 256 colors (they look good -- probably what everybody wants -- but tedious & somewhat unrewarding).

I'll probably do some sort of "hybrid" between the existing Glow Icon set and my own creations (still derivative, but a little more interesting to paint).

For now, I think the drawers (by themselves) do a pretty good job of adding an updated look without straying too far from the originals.

(BTW -- I'm still working on drawers -- if you don't see what you need, let me know -- I've only got about 20 more on my list, then I'm done).

@VooDoo

Sorry about the dead links -- I keep changing the archive -- the best place to get the icons is either IntuitionBase -or- OS4 Depot.

Usually my direct links are sort of "betas" -- a lot of the icons don't end up in the final archive. Plus the links are usually only good for a day or two.

@klesterjr

Ok i'll report the icons which i miss
to start i don't see a MUI drawer It is needed, because it is in Sys: under OS4.

Another little thing is that the normal drawer icon hasn't the same size as the others. So it is difficult to align them toghter. Do you understand what i mean?

Congratulations again, more i use your icons more i like it. I'm also waiting for Mason's ones

@ikir

The MUI drawer is located in the 'Progams' directory.

The 'normal' icon (all the various colors) needs some "tweaking" I guess -- I'll make sure they're fixed by the next release (probably Sunday).

Mason's icons should be good (he's been at this longer than I have). It would be nice to have his 256 program/workbench icons released -- then I could focus on various applications/add-ons to match his style.

I've always painted my "own" icons, but I'm not really an "icon designer" (although I was (am) a grapic artist for many many years -- I was also a comicbook artist (inker, actually) in the 90's).
