This has to be the shadiest scam yet.
Here, Edward, is a better way to do it. Get a business loan for $6000. That's fairly easy in the UK - that kind of loan is a pittance. Add $100 markup to every board - this will help you get that business loan if this is in your business plan.
In Sterling and Euro that is a pittance (and your resale of the boards at roughly cost for what may well be a lot cheaper than the actual Momentum board would justify that small markup).
Sell 65 of them in 6 months. Settle your loan.
This is a lot more legally sound and viable than "please donate $6000 for a project we may never finish, produce or market after tomorrow".
