xkernell - Any news? What it is capable of enabling? Was it demonstrated?
Gallium3D & accelerated OpenGL - Any news? Was it demonstrated?
Is there any estimation to give when AOS4.2 should be out? 1H/2015? 2H/2015?
Has x5000+AOS4 betatesting started yet?
(I have a hunch that x1000 betatesters have had xkernel since 2013. Why there is no info released?) Last edited by KimmoK on 28-Oct-2014 at 10:31 AM. Last edited by KimmoK on 28-Oct-2014 at 10:30 AM. Last edited by KimmoK on 28-Oct-2014 at 10:15 AM. Last edited by KimmoK on 28-Oct-2014 at 10:14 AM.

Can you say some more about what the "new WB, DOS and Intuition" features are?

with the Final Edition of AOS4.1, what classic users like me (with A1200PPC) can expect ?
- will we get a SCSI driver for the BlizzardPPC (I dont have a Mediator so I am stuck with the onboard IDE which cripples the performance)
- will we get a 3D driver for the BVisionPPC (same reason here) ?
these are the 2 things I am looking forward to be able to use (and play with) my system decently.

Will/has the Screensaver been updated accordingly to allow for more smoothly faded in/out from one image to another? E.g. like a slideshow of images |
No, there is no smooth fading or whatever.
Personally, I haven't used a screen blanker since CRTs disappeared. I suppose others still do. _________________ ExecSG Team Lead |

The programmer is still working on it. How much faith do you have in software programmer estimates? (joke)

Never because Timberwolf is not Hyperion's product. I've afraid you have been gravely misinformed.
I do have the source code to the current version of Timberwolf here on my hard drive. I really should look into working on it again but I thought most people could live with Odyssey in the mean time. Now that we have a good way to deliver video I really should get back to that project._________________ ExecSG Team Lead |
