Seriously, it seems like all the goodies are going to be in 4.2. I follow this site quite closely and the last mention of 4.2 was the middle of last year and suggested 4.2 could be out about the end of last year. I know the developers are in a permanent snit about some things people have said on AmigaWorld, but it would be nice to have a semi-annual update. By the way, what is the proper etiquette for interacting with Amiga developers? Is there a special font for grovelling? _________________ X5000 / microA1(OS4.1 FE U2) / CodeBench / Imagine / Blender Lightwave 2019 / Microsoft Visual C++ |

True, all the goodies are saved for 4.2.

OS4.2 was not promised for the end of last year, the x1000 was released with OS4.1 update 5, OS4.2 is a work in progress & will be released when done, there is no release date & there never was one.
This is how false rumors start.

Sorry, I didn't get all that. Something about "I'll be your slave forever" and lots of empty promises? So if somebody makes a lot of empty promises and you make a lot of empty promises back, isn't the net communication zero? _________________ X5000 / microA1(OS4.1 FE U2) / CodeBench / Imagine / Blender Lightwave 2019 / Microsoft Visual C++ |

Then both sides are happier, and we can all get on with our lives.
Just a thought ...
Best regards,
