Apparently a user from Pegasos.org, known as lisardman, set up 2 websites with a picture claiming to have hacked Amigans website with banners linking to Pegasos.org. Looks like he registered both domains with his name, address and email within the last week.

He has posted here: http://www.pegasos.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=5071 giving the same email address and showing the same city as the information from doing a WHOIS on Amigans.com and Amigans.org.

Also, his blog is here: http://lisardman.blogspot.com/

Red and Blue again. When will it end?

@AmigaHeretic

The title of this thread is inaccurate and inflammatory. Are you really trying to stir up trouble? There was no hack. All he did was have his own pages refresh to the URL of the other site, which hasn't been touched, as far as I know.

I don't know, but is posting "lisardman for Pegasos.org Hacks Amigans.com & Amigans.org!" part of the solution, or part of the problem? Think about it.

@gary_c

That was suppose to be from not for, I have changed it.

If you read the picture it clearly states that 'you have been hacked'

"Moff moff, j00 h4v3 b33n h4x0r3d!"

What, he did it for pegasos.org? What does that mean?

LOL. You believe everything you read? Did you look at the other site? Did you see anything different? Do you read anything at that site about it being hacked? I could write that on a web page, too, but it wouldn't make another site be hacked.

Anyway, what was the point of starting such an inflammatory thread?

@AmigaHeretic

First of all, how do you hack your own website?

The man owns those domains.

When I checked those a few days ago, they redirected to......amigaworld.net.

Today they redirect to.....amigans.net.

So both aw.net and amigans.net has got redirected from there.

Seems like a prank to me.

Immature? maybe.
Lame? perhaps.
Funny, well, I too got a giggle from that.

And what comes to the topic, it seems a bit offensive, since I can't see how a person can hack his own website. So going to change Hacks to "owns".

What "other" site? Do you mean amigans.net?? I never even mentioned that site, maybe you should re-read what I posted? I said he hacked his own sites, both of which I gave links to.

I think it is a prank. And it's kinda funny.

Why change the topic though? He did "hack" Amigans.com and Amigans.org. He says so right on his front page.

Let's not bury the truth here now, you don't want this site looking too blue now! Maybe a compromise, "lisardman from Pegasos.org Hacks his own Amigans.com & Amigans.org sites!"

@AmigaHeretic

You can't be serious.

The guy registered two available domains. Everyone could have done that, including Mikey C, but no-one did.

There is no evil blue hacking involved here, so give it a rest and bury the war-axe already.

Are you sure because I heared Bill Buck funded the domains? I'm KIDDING!! But seriously could we get a copy of his credit card statement just to make sure? And no I don't want to see a PhotoShop one that has Gary Hares name on it

All quite funny. A good way to "break in" the new guys.

When people will stop caring.

Looks like you're doing a pretty bad job at it, by the way.

My mistake. I didn't read carefully and thought you were saying he claimed to hack another site. Sorry about that.

Still, I'm confused about your point in starting this thread, though. As I said, posting this here seems more likely to stir up trouble than build bridges, ironic in view of your "where will it end."

@Aminicle

To sensitive minds it is...
BTW it's not an hack, it's an [html] feature
And I fail to see how on doing someone else's work is such a bad thing.. anyone would reconsider entering amigans.net after seeing it? At least it wasn't gone to a dead page, and will hopefully redirected to the page that the user really want instead of the mistakenly typed page he'd typed. Time to time I do type osnews.org, and i got to a publicity page that does not do nothing of above... i'd only wished it joked with osnews and send me there instead
