@serk118

Last thing I heard (end of January) was that Anton Reinauer is the last one doing any work on it (now and then). Personally I don't expect this project ever to be completed.

@ironfist
lol! good one. Well, when they first started making noises about buying Amiga Inc. with proceeds from the movie, DiscreetFX did mention something about an investor helping fund the production, and it sounded like they had convinced the same investor to flush - err, I mean invest - money into the AInc. purchase as well.

I've exhanged PM's with Bill during the past weeks, (last one yesterday), and my impression is that he is very busy, working up to 18 hours/day, which explains that he needs to take his time before he replies.

The status update for Amizilla usually comes from Anton, he usually makes a report when there is some news and or progress to report.

@tomazkid

It's been around a month since I send him a PM (or was it 2). Then thought he might not check his PM here and emailed him instead 20 days ago.

Know he's busy (just like the rest of us) but still I can't help feeling ignored :( Bill please reply to me soon.

Hi guys- sorry for no update for a while- there hasn't been anything to report as I've been too busy doing other things, to spend any time on Amizilla

But, the good news is we have a new programmer- who is quite experienced, that is having a go compiling the NSPR at the moment (with a little help from the team).

Luckily I have some time free at the moment, so can help him- I'll put out an Update soon, when we have some news to share (fingers crossed- eh)!

As for Bill- he put a post on a AmigaWorld, or Amiga.org (can't remember) forum, a couple of months ago, saying he's still involved in the Amiga scene, and the Amizilla Bounty money was safe in a bank account, receiving interest!

He sponsors AWompetition with a prize ( DiscreetFX - Millenium ) and as I mentioned, I got a PM from him as late as this Saturday

@Troels

Sorry I missed your e-mail Troels, my spam filter does flag the wrong messages sometimes. AmiZilla funds are safe and sound, the film is financed by an investor and me working 80+ hours a week. $10,000 is way to little money to make a quality movie, if the film does well though I will be pumping even more money into AmiZilla. Remember over $6000 of the funds are from me and an ex-Netscape executive. If you want a status of the AmiZilla project though I'm not the one to ask as I don't do any coding for it. I am only the sponsor of the contest. Ants is your man for status updates.

@DiscreetFX

I doubt anyone could make a college 'art film' for $10,000 these days

Anyways, you are doing your best right now.. don't let the whiners who post on these boards get you down.

@DiscreetFX

I certainly didn't question whether the funds is safe (wasn't ME hinting how the movie was financed!!).

Ants already gave us a small staus update (nothing to report..), thanks to both of you.
