@all

We have become the computing equivelent of the Village idiots.

Someone once said "Who is the bigger fool? the fool or the one that follows him?"

*sigh*

Only in Amigaland.

I hope you are not trying to suggest my new career path is somehow bad in anyway. I get free food (thrown at me) and have the nicest of girls come talk to me (in a shouting way). I consider these all perks!

@Nossie

If I'm well informed, a German registered the first patent for the Maglev principle in the 30's. But the Transrapid maglev is also a little of a tough sell at the moment...

Not mentioning Amiga Center at Kent and all its implications in the Amiga story shows (to me) that he is looking at this solely from the perspective of the Amigaland hardware/software microcosm.
The article is an interesting summary perhaps, but way too limited as to the scope of understanding the underlying forces in play.

You forgot the jet engine, as well.

Isn't the concept behind the design of the Apple logo some sort of a nod to the gay community.

@EgonSpengler

Wow that's a really concise and accurate article. This definately should be included in the On the Edge: The Rise and Fall of Commodore as a final summary of the Amiga's demise. It is also an excellent example of squables over IP, business decisions made with heart over wallet mentalities, etc!

He even mentions us, the humble Amiga users. Give this guy a medal In fact give him a job at Amiga Inc. I think he'd have more of a clue about what's been going on then most in the company.
